Our mission
Alsace BioValley accompanies businesses and laboratories in the health/life sciences sector looking to create,
grow or locate in the Alsace region.
Having received the official "world-class track" label, the Alsace BioValley competitiveness cluster is financed by the EU, French national and local governments, as well as private partners. Thanks to efficient operations and outstanding results, our performance has received national recognition.

Our areas of activity
Alsace BioValley's efforts are concentrate on the field of therapeutic innovations, particularly in two promising sectors:
- drug discovery
- new medico-surgical and robotics technologies
Our actions
Alsace BioValley works in three strategic directions:
- increasing the competitiveness of Alsace's Life Sciences and Health companies and laboratories
- building an ideal scientific environment to develop therapeutic innovations in Alsace
- positionning Alsace among the world's major players in the therpeutic innovations sector

*The term cluster refers to a geographic locality presenting an exceptionally high concentration of industry, research organizations and academic institutions all working within a particular field on the international level (or with the goal of achieving international recognition). This activity is additionally is supported by venture capital as well as funding from the national and local governments. The various actors all share a common vision for dynamic growth and an interest in innovation strategy.
