Our missions
The ALSACE BIOVALLEY cluster encourages a synergy between public and private businesses, education centres, public and private research and innovation centres, institutions and organisations with the aim of developing the life science and healthcare sectors and their players, while also following the objective of reinforcing the attractiveness and competitiveness of Alsace.To illustrate our purpose, we can mention the following missions undertaken by the ALSACE BIOVALLEY cluster:
>> Promoting and supporting R&D collaboration projects and technological transfers;
>> Encouraging the creation, establishment and development of businesses;
>> Contributing to the development of an environment which is favourable to players' growth through the means of making available, either directly or indirectly, pooled or individual services;
>> Contributing to the reinforcement of local offers, particularly through structuring projects such as shared and large-scale research infrastructures or technological platforms;
>> Raising the international profile of Alsace in our field of activities;
>> Encouraging access to public research's technological offers;
>> Ensuring the promotion of BioValley's trinational initiative in the three bordering regions (Alsace, Baden-Wurttemberg in Germany, North-West Switzerland), in close relation with BioValley's Central Association
>> Reinforcing the Competitivity Centre's international dimension in order to reach the status of a worldwide scale centre.
