Training with IEEPI

The Institut Européen Entreprise et Propriété Intellectuelle (IEEPI)was created in 2004 further to an initiative by the Ministry of Industry and INPI. Based in Strasbourg and supported by the Alsatian local authorities, the Institute develops training courses at national level on economic and strategic issues related to intellectual property (PI – propriété intellectuelle, intellectual property).
Training courses addressed to businesses, particularly SMEs (directors, managers, head of IP, R&D, engineers, lawyers), research centres (researchers, development managers), agencies specialised in economics and technological development (CCI, CRITT, …) and IP practitioners (CPI, lawyers, industry specialists).
IEEPI offers three types of training:
Short courses : 40 short courses of a duration of one to three days on the following topics:
- Intellectual property strategies
- Licensing
- Tax and financial assessment
- Contracts and claims
- New technologies
Long courses :
- A training course leading to a diploma, made of five units of three days each, taught in collaboration with Strasbourg I and II universities: leading to a university degree entitled "Intellectual property strategy and innovation".
- A training course on licensing issues, of duration of 10 days, dealing with the entire procedure of selling and buying technologies: development strategy, sourcing, due diligence, tax, negotiation, contracts, follow-up actions.
Made-to-measure training courses (as for short and long courses) on the aggressive and strategic aspects of intellectual property, aimed at competitivity centres, incubators and businesses.
