Training with Enterprise Europe Network
Two networks, Euro Info Centre (EIC) and Centre Relais Innovation (CRI), have merged in 2008 to become Enterprise Europe Network.
In Alsace, Enterprise Europe avails of:
- a contact point at the Chamber of commerce and industry in Strasbourg and Bas-Rhin (formerly Euro Info Centre)
- a contact point at CRCI Alsace (formerly Centre Relais Innovation).
Missions and services undertaken by this new network are organised around the following lines:
1. Supporting the implementation of European guidelines:
This relates to the three Guidelines on medical devices and REACH (on handling dangerous products).
- Running information and awareness programmes
- Participating in training programmes
- Business consultancy.
The Enterprise Europe unit at CCI Strasbourg also avails of expertise on the EC label on manufactured products.
2. Information on European programmes (7th PCRD, CIP,…): organisation of information meetings covering a choice of themes, in partnership with ARI.
3. Technological trade fairs and exchanges
- Information on European fairs in the fields of biotechnologies and healthcare
- Enlisting for European technological meetings and exchanges.
4. Partnerships
For the last few years, CRI avails of a special field of competencies in biotechnologies, particularly due to its participation in a European taskforce bringing together various CRI operating in the field.
Enterprise Europe will continue to offer missions orientated towards a European partnership:
- Organisation of business missions in Europe
- Broadcasting offers and demands in innovating technologies
- Seeking European partners.
